At Cookson Cycles workshop we pride ourselves in providing a quality and efficient service at the most competitive prices in the Manchester area. Be it a standard service, repair, or a custom build you will get the same high level of service from our experienced friendly staff. We will repair any bike regardless of make or model or purchased elsewhere.
Prior to the service or repair our Cytech and Fox Suspension qualified mechanics in the workshop will discuss with you what work may need carrying out, and during the service they will call you to advise if there is any work which needs doing which is outside the scope of the initial consultation.
No job is too small, we can service or repair any bike, replace bushings and suspension bearings on 99% of bikes, service and repair most makes of suspension forks, set up your tubeless tires, service Shimano, Bosch Powered E-Bikes, service hydraulic brake systems, install, diagnose and set-up your Shimano Di2 or Sram AXS gears, what ever job you have bring your bike down and our Cytech & Fox Suspension qualified mechanics will repair your bike. Workshop Standard Service – £50.00 excluding parts
Set-up and service of gears
Set-up of brakes
Check all components for wear and tear
Check and inflate tyres
Check wheels are true and spoke tension
Check headset and adjust
Check Hubs and adjust bearings if possible
Workshop Bosch E-Bike & Shimano Steps Service – £75.00 excluding parts
All work from our standard service is covered and additionally we will service and update the electronics of your Bosch E-Bike and Shimano Steps E-Bike.
Workshop Premium Service – £130.00 excluding parts
Complete strip-down of the bike, checking and cleaning each part, replacing where appropriate and re-build.
Set-up and service of gears
Check and service the brakes
Check all components for wear and tear
Check and inflate tyres
Check wheels are true and spoke tension
Forks, Rear Suspension and Hydraulic brake servicing is not included in this price.

Standard Air can service on Fox and Rock Shox units from £20.00
Full Service (all seals, oil and nitrogen replaced) of Fox, Rock Shox, Scott, Manitou, Marzocchi, Cane Creek, 5th Element, through one of our established partners.
Brakes excluding parts
Brake bleed from £15 per brake
Full Brake rebuild from £25 per brake.
