Hi, Please may I ask how the stem attaches to headset. The photo does not show the traditional cavity for headset bolt and top cap? Thanks John

So this stem fits in exactly the same manner, what you can't see from this image is a small rubber bung covering the stem bolt, effectively replacing what you are used to.
Due to the nature of the hardware this comes with a much longer bolt to fit to your existing star nut.
